Thin film keyboard

Thin film type
It is composed of three layers of conductive thin films (with circuits in both the upper and lower layers, and an insulation layer in the middle). This is the key to using this keyboard to trigger actions, but there are other types of conductive films available, some using rubber caps, some using mechanical modules, and rubber caps are commonly seen on the market.
Thin film keyboards occupy the vast majority of the market with advantages such as low cost, simple craftsmanship, and good tactile sensation. Most of the keyboards we use in our daily lives are thin film keyboards. The structure of thin film keyboards is very simple. Apart from the upper and lower covers and keycaps that we can directly contact, we can see the silicone cap below the keys, thin film circuits, and circuit boards.
Night glow
The luminous keyboard is becoming increasingly popular among people. There are roughly two types of backlit keyboards on the market, one is using LED light-emitting diodes as backlight, and the other is using an electric light board as backlight.
The front LED backlight keyboard is divided into monochrome LED night light keyboard and color changing LED night light keyboard. Compared with electric light board keyboard, LED keyboard is usually cheaper due to its simplicity. However, due to the significant difference in brightness of each LED, its backlight uniformity is difficult to ensure. In addition, an LED keyboard is composed of many LED light emitting tubes, so its power consumption is relatively high.
The market for photoelectric panel luminous keyboards is relatively rare, mainly due to the use of expensive photoelectric panels, so high-end backlight keyboards or military luminous keyboards are produced using this type. The advantages are that its brightness is very uniform, the electrode consumption is low, the lifespan is long, the quality is stable, and the photoelectric board is only about 0.5mm. It can also be folded, and the size of the photoelectric board can be cut arbitrarily. The disadvantage is that it is expensive and cannot change the color.
